Healthy Fun Another new product at this year’s show included GyroGym Inc.’s portable, lightweight human gyroscope, which offered potential buyers a new spin on combining fun, health, and fitness. Originally created to train NASA astronauts, the GyroGym is made up of three consecutive steel rings and is available in two different models. Riders are in complete control of their experiences on this attraction, which offers customers the opportunity to have a unique session every time they use the GyroGym since the outcome is based entirely on the rate of speed and direction of movement the customer chooses. Several health benefits associated with GyroGym include enhanced balance and coordination, reduction of stress levels, improved posture, and increased circulation and oxygen to the brain.
Nice mention in the October 17th Issue of the LA Times.
The GyroGym. If you guessed "astronaut training," take a bow. The GyroGym takes the all-body workout to a wild new level by transforming you into the spinning, whirling nucleus of a 10-foot-tall gyroscope. It's derived from an abandoned 1960s NASA design, and was featured on the TV series "Star Trek: Enterprise." Rotating upside-down and sideways, as fast or slow as you please, the GyroGym accommodates all body types and fitness levels. It stretches and strengthens every muscle in your body and works your heart, but is as fun as your own private amusement park.
